Decided. The Top 25 Minnesota Blawgs, as selected by Practice Blawg editors. It’s a great list and a diverse crowd, from rural attorneys to big city bloggers, with posts covering courthouse fashion, virtual worlds, and the nitty-gritty details of court cases. There’s even a blog we can’t read without using Google translate. We’ve listed all 25 blawgs here.
Interestingly, nearly half of the Top 25 Blawgs are “new.” To be specific, 11 of the 25 started in the last year, and some of the ones that didn’t make it appeared to start and then end this year (not unusual for blogs). As bloggers ourselves, we know that it takes a lot of effort to keep a good blog going, so we aren’t surprised by this trend. To the “old” blogs: Kudos. Keep up the good work. We know you’ve put a lot of effort into this. To the new kids on the block: Consider this your push to continue adding new content and keep on keeping on. We’d like to see you back here for our 2011 Top 25 list.
Wondering why your blog didn’t make it? Our top three reasons:
- We didn’t know about it.
- It was confusing to find and navigate.
- It was not updated recently or regularly.
Watch for an upcoming blog post on our top tips for blawgs, with things we’ve learned from reading blawgs over the past few years, complete with examples from our Top 25 honorees. In the meantime, read through our list and provide some feedback, good or bad, on how we did in making our choices. And remember to spread the word about our honorees.
