Greg Luce has taken the Off the Clock series to heart. He is seriously Off the Clock, Off the Job, and Out of the Country for the month of January.

Yes, it’s true, he is taking a couple weeks of vacation and chaperoning a group of St. Olaf students on a J-term trip to Florence, Italy. Here at practicelaw, we are concerned that they will all come back with heads filled with visions of websites and notions of document assembly. Yikes. Then there is the very real possibility that come February, practicelaw will take on a bit of an Italian Renaissance look.

The rest of the practicelaw team, to a person, volunteered to take his place, but being the magnanimous guy he is, insisted that he suffer the journey. Go figure. So we will be here at the MSBA in Florence-like Minneapolis toiling away and fielding questions and problems usually reserved for Greg. We will have no time to paint the ceiling, paint the town or anything else but we will be happy to help members.
