Practice Blawg: New QuickBooks Trust Accounting Guide (1 day ago)

Additions to the MNBlawg Network

We’ve added four new blogs to our practicelaw blogroll (which we now self-aggrandizingly call the MNBlawg Network), with estate planning, aviation law, criminal law, and business law as the focus. To wit:

Aviation Law Discussions.  MSBA member Gregory Reigel devotes his blog to aviation law, safety and security. He posted recently on Federal Aviation Administration rules for random drug testing of safety-sensitive employees. We’re not aware of another aviation law attorney blogger in Minnesota, but if you know of one, let us know. We actually had to add a new tag to our blogroll for Aviation Law.

Minneapolis Criminal Law News. Thomas J. Gallagher, a criminal law attorney and MSBA member, blogs about criminal law matters. His latest post examines the “Trial of Jesus: A Criminal Law Perspective.” When the Minnesota Supreme Court addressed bong water as a controlled substance, Gallagher also weighed in on the decision.

Minnesota Estate Planning and Probate. Jennifer Gumbel, an MSBA member and lawyer in Preston, Minnesota (160 or so miles southeast of the Twin Cities), blogs about estate planning and probate issues, most recently about Common Pitfalls for Even the Rich and Famous. She can also be found on Twitter tweeting about similar issues as well as asking questions like “What does an attorney wear when it’s negative 6?”

Twin Cities Business Litigation Blog. Gavin Craig, an attorney in the Twin Cities metro area (Minnetonka to be exact), blogs about business law, construction litigation and sundry litigation topics. He recently expounded on the risk of shareholder liability and also posted about how a couple beat the bank. Like Jennifer Gumbel, he’s on Twitter, talking about winter, television shows, and  his various experiences as an attorney.

Are you a Minnesota attorney with a legal blog? Let us know. We may add you to our practicelaw blogroll and feature you here. And, as the lawyers in us are apt to remind the world, just because we list a blog here or on our blogroll doesn’t mean we agree with the authors’ posts or commentary. We just like to see more attorneys blogging. So there.
