Practice Blawg: New QuickBooks Trust Accounting Guide (1 day ago)

Unbundling Your Services

More and more attorneys are considering ‘unbundling’ their legal services, allowing clients to pick, ala carte, what specific services the client wants (or can afford). Now, thanks to the MSBA’s Pro Se Implementation Committee, there are new resources available for Minnesota attorneys, including a sample Limited Scope Legal Services Agreement and a risk management guide for limited scope services in family law matters. The same materials are also available on practicelaw, along with other more “traditional” sample fee agreements. John Del Vecchio, an attorney in St. Paul and member of the MSBA’s Pro Se Implementation Committee, spearheaded the committee’s effort to provide sample documents and resources for members and the public.
