Fastcase Adds Minnesota Statutes to Database

It’s a holiday today at the Minnesota State Bar Association, but I just received notice on the Fastcase blog that Fastcase has added the Minnesota statutes as one of its fully searchable databases. Nice! Previously, Fastcase linked to the Minnesota Office of the Revisor of Statutes, which maintains an online version of Minnesota statutes. Now, like other online legal research vendors, Fastcase has made the statutes fully searchable as part of its overall system. It’s been a frequently requested feature from MSBA members, and I knew it was in the works, though I honestly expected it months from now. Very nice to get it today.  Fastcase CEO Ed Walters has a video blog explaining the new feature, which is available in about 15 other jurisdictions and is being expanded to all jurisdictions in the near future.
